Nice to Meet You, I'm Molly
Firstly, thank you very much for stopping by my blog. It means a lot to me and it is very nice to meet you here! Whether you are my family snooping to see what I am writing, came from my social media or stumbled across here I appreciate it. I am just a very normal girl, with a creative outlet and babbles on about travel, languages and food!
Let me introduce myself, I am Molly! In my twenties, and despite going to university I can be very ditzy. Growing up I didn’t really know what I wanted to do, I only really had 3 things I loved doing: learning languages, eating food and playing the piano. I have lived all across the south coast of the UK, my hometown is Southampton. I used to live in Barcelona and currently as I am writing this being bitten by insects, living in Cyprus.
Back in 2016 I moved to Barcelona for my placement year at University. Before this I wasn’t sure of myself and not in a good place and Spain changed it all for me. I met tons of new friends, got to explore Catalonia and worked as an Online Marketing Assistant for an apartment rental agency. I suddenly found myself creating content for their blog, website and working with other content creators. I loved it because I challenged myself and got good at it and Blondie Wanderlust was born.
Travel bought out another side to me and despite all the education and life lessons from my parents, I am a stereotypical blonde and have my ditzy moments. I am new to travel and thought it would be great/funny to share my experiences but also to have a portfolio for any future jobs.
As if the blog name wasn’t a hint enough, I love to travel mainly in Europe) but also weekend trips when I am based in the UK. I have been learning Spanish for over 10 years and it was one of the things I was good at when I was young and was proud of. I still learn languages now and love how it connects people, I speak Spanish and know basic Italian and Portuguese. The first thing I do when I book a trip is find out where to eat. I am very sorry for all of the future food pictures and on my social media.
Want to Work Together?
I have been very fortunate to work with incredible brands reviewing travel products, services and guest posting for them and vice versa. I would love the opportunity to meet other brands and collaborate so I can create even more content. More than welcome to email me for any enquiries.
